Tutu can’t find her shoe! With help from family and a funny surprise, she learns sometimes the things we lose are closer than we think.
Tutu was a tiny turtle with two tiny shoes. She wore them every day—one red, one blue! But today… “Oh no!” cried Tutu. “My blue shoe is gone!”
She looked under her bed. “Not here.” She checked in the toy box. “Not there!”
She asked Daddy. “Have you seen my shoe?” Daddy shook his head. “Try asking Mama.”
Mama was in the kitchen. “Have you seen my blue shoe?” Mama smiled. “Check your little brother’s room.”
Tutu tiptoed in. Baby Boo was giggling on the floor. And on his foot was—“My shoe!” laughed Tutu.
Baby Boo clapped. “Shoe!” Tutu giggled and gave him a tickle. “That’s my shoe, silly.”
She put it on and twirled. “Now I’m ready to play!”
From that day on, Tutu always kept her shoes in a special spot—right beside her bed. “Left foot, right foot… ready for adventure!” said Tutu with a grin.
