The Invisible Rainbow
Once upon a time, in a town where colors had disappeared, a little girl named Lumi lived with her tiny gray kitten. Every morning, the sun rose pale and cold — no pink, no blue, no gold.
Lumi missed colors most of all. She dreamed of skies that danced and flowers that smiled. One night, she whispered to her kitten, “I wish I could bring colors back.”
As she drifted to sleep, a tiny spark floated into her lantern. It shimmered and spoke: “I am the Light of Courage. Follow me, and you will find the colors again.”
When morning came, Lumi packed her bag and set off. The world was still gray, but her lantern glowed softly. Her kitten followed, tail flicking with excitement.
She met a boy crying beside a wilted tree. “The wind took my kite, and the sky stole its color,” he said. Lumi shared her light the tree blushed green again.
In a dark cave, she found a shy bird who forgot how to sing. When her lantern’s light touched its wings, they shimmered gold and music filled the air.
Everywhere she went, the world remembered its colors. Fields turned green, rivers sparkled blue, and the sky blushed pink like morning laughter.
At last, Lumi reached the top of Rainbow Hill. She lifted her lantern high, and light burst into every shadow.
Colors poured through the sky red, orange, green, blue, violet! The people below looked up in wonder. They smiled for the first time in years.
The light whispered, “Thank you, Lumi. You found courage where others saw only gray.” Then the spark faded, resting inside her heart.
From that day on, the town glowed with color and laughter. Every lantern in every home carried a little bit of Lumi’s light reminding everyone that courage and kindness can make the whole world shine. THE END
