Detaily příběhu

Barnaby, a fluffy marmoset, stared at his pond. His tail, a perfect question mark, wiggled. Why did some things float and others *plop* to the bottom? A giant, shiny green leaf drifted by. Barnaby pushed it. It bobbed gently, like a tiny boat.

“Hmm,” he chattered, his whiskers twitching. He found a bright red berry. He dropped it in. *SPLASH!* Down it sank, quick as a wink! Barnaby gasped. His tail straightened with surprise.

Next, Barnaby found a smooth, grey pebble. It felt heavy in his paw. He held his breath and dropped it. *KER-PLUNK!* It vanished into the murky depths. Barnaby frowned. His question mark tail drooped a little.

A fluffy dandelion seed floated past on a breeze. He carefully nudged it onto the water. It danced and twirled, light as a feather. Barnaby giggled, a tiny squeak of delight. His tail curled higher, a perfect, bouncy question mark once more.

Then, Barnaby discovered a fat, juicy caterpillar. It wiggled and jiggled in his grasp. He thought hard. Would it float or sink? He gently placed it on the water’s surface. The caterpillar wriggled, then slowly, slowly, it began to *dunk*! Barnaby’s eyes grew wide. He watched it disappear. His tail became a very, very tight question mark.

Suddenly, a big, hollow acorn shell tumbled from a branch above. Barnaby grabbed it. He placed it softly on the water. It floated! Perfectly! He even put a tiny flower inside. It drifted like a grand ship. Barnaby clapped his tiny paws.

He understood! Some things were light and airy, like leaves and hollow shells. Others were heavy and solid, like berries and pebbles. His tail wagged, a triumphant exclamation point!
