Detaily příběhu

This is a sunny vineyard! Many rows of plants grow up a gentle hill.

I am Viney, a big, leafy grapevine. My long, curly vines climb up the wooden fence.

The hot summer sun shines on me every day, making my leaves grow wide and strong.

Look closely! Small, hard green grapes are starting to grow in little bunches.

As the summer gets warmer, the grapes turn deep purple and become very sweet inside.

A pretty yellow butterfly stops to rest on one of my big, shady leaves.

Farmer Ben comes to check on me. He tastes a grape to see if they are sweet enough.

A cool, soft wind blows through the vineyard, making my thousands of leaves rustle.

Shh! A gentle rain falls and washes away any dust, making my grapes clean and shiny.

Before the grapes grew, a busy bee collected nectar from my tiny, hidden flowers.

It's harvest time! Many hands are picking the heavy bunches of ripe, purple grapes.

I am Viney, the grapevine. I am empty now, but I will rest all winter and grow more grapes next year!
