Minh sat at his messy desk. His chin rested on his hand as he stared at the mountain of homework. Pencils, papers, and books were everywhere. He wanted to finish, but his brain felt slow. Numbers and words seemed jumbled. His face scrunched in frustration.

One evening, Minh walked home along a quiet street. The sky was painted with orange and pink. Suddenly, something sparkled on the sidewalk. It was a pen, glowing softly in the sunset light. Minh's eyes grew wide. He picked it up carefully.

At home, Minh opened his notebook. The new pen began to glow brighter. To his shock, the pen moved on its own, writing answers to math problems and spelling words perfectly. Minh's mouth dropped open. "Wow!" he whispered.

Days passed. Minh lounged on the couch, eating snacks. The magic pen wrote his homework while he relaxed. The room was messy, toys and books spilled about. Minh giggled, thinking homework was now easy.

But the next day in class, Minh stared at a blank test paper. He bit his pencil nervously. Other kids wrote happily. Teacher Thao noticed and looked at Minh with a soft but firm gaze. "Try your best," she said gently.

That night, Minh sat at his desk again. This time, he used his own pencil. The magic pen was locked safely in a glowing jar on the shelf. Minh smiled, focusing hard. His mother sat beside him, proud and warm. She whispered, "You can do it!"

Finally, the test day arrived. Minh held up his paper with a big red "10". His face shone with joy. Teacher Thao clapped, and his mother waved proudly from outside the classroom window. Minh learned that with a little hard work, he could shine all on his own.
