One calm morning, Panda walks into a big, quiet library. “Shhh… it’s very peaceful here,” he whispers.
Tall shelves full of books stand all around. Panda’s eyes sparkle. “So many stories!”
Panda picks a small book with pictures on the cover. “This looks fun,” he smiles.
He sits at a wooden table and opens the book slowly. The pages smell nice and clean.
A little mouse peeks from behind a book stack. Panda waves gently. “Hello, friend.”
Panda reads softly. The mouse listens quietly, sitting close.
More friends come—a bird on the window and a kitten near the chair. Everyone listens.
Panda turns the last page and smiles. “Reading takes us to many places.”
He puts the book back carefully. “Thank you for the story,” Panda says politely.
As Panda leaves the library, he feels calm and happy. “Books are wonderful friends,” he says with a gentle smile.
