جزئیات داستان

Bibi found a tiny beetle hiding under a big green leaf

The beetle did not glow. It looked sleepy and still

Bibi said, "B… B… B!" She thought of brave B-words to help

She called, "Bo! Come!" Bo the puppy bounded over to see

Bo nosed the leaf. The beetle gave a tiny shiver—then a PINPRICK blink

Bibi whispered, "Be brave." She used a long leaf to lift and carry it.

The beetle brightened more and wiggled free. It hopped onto Bibi's palm!

Bibi laughed, "B is for beetle. B is for brave. B is for buddy"

She made a tiny leaf-bed by the window and set the beetle to rest

That night Bibi whispered, "Goodnight, Bright Bug." The beetle blinked like a tiny star

Bibi smiled. Today they would say new B-words together
