They tied a string and ran across the grassy hill. The kite lifted, glowing in sunset gold, fluttering like an origami bird finding its wings.

“It’s flying! My dream is really flying!” Olivia laughed, her worries unfolding like loosened paper. Jacob grinned. “If you keep trying, your dream will fly even higher.”
