Hello! This is Mai. Today, Mai is exploring a quiet corner of her backyard behind the old rose bushes. She finds a patch of soft moss and a few flat stones. She decides to use her imagination to build a Secret Fairy Garden, a tiny home for the "little people" of the forest.

First, Mai needs to find the perfect Foundation. She clears away a few dry leaves and levels the soil. She learns that every good project starts with a clean space. She places three flat gray stones to make a tiny patio for her imaginary guests.

Next, Mai builds a Tiny House. She finds a large, empty flower pot and turns it upside down. She uses strong twigs to make a little door and sticks a piece of soft bark on top for a roof. She is learning how to use Natural Materials to build something beautiful.

Mai wants her garden to be colorful. She gathers fallen petals from the jasmine and hibiscus flowers. She scatters them around the tiny house like a Floral Carpet. She learns that nature provides all the decorations she needs if she just looks closely at the ground.

For furniture, Mai gets very creative. She finds an acorn cap and turns it over—it’s a perfect Tiny Bowl! She uses two flat pebbles as chairs and a smooth piece of wood as a table. She is practicing her Problem-Solving skills by finding new uses for small things.

Every garden needs water! Mai finds a blue bottle cap and presses it into the moss. She fills it with a few drops of water to create a Miniature Pond. She even adds a tiny sprig of clover next to it to look like a weeping willow tree.

Mai notices some sparkly pebbles near the driveway. She brings them to her garden and makes a Shimmering Path. She carefully places each pebble one by one. This helps her practice being Patient and Gentle with her hands.

To make the garden feel "secret," Mai weaves long pieces of tall grass between the rose branches. This creates a Green Curtain that hides the fairy home from the rest of the yard. She loves having a private place where she can sit and think.

Mai’s friend, Leo, comes over to see the garden. He brings a "gift" for the fairies—a small shiny marble he found. Mai shows him how to place it on top of a twig to make a Crystal Ball. They learn that sharing ideas makes the garden even better!

Mai and Leo decide to name the inhabitants. They call them the "Leaf-Lords." They imagine what the fairies do at night, like dancing on the moss or riding on the backs of dragonflies. Using their Imagination makes the backyard feel like a whole new world.

Suddenly, a real visitor arrives! A small Toad hops into the fairy garden and sits on the stone patio. Mai and Leo stay very still and quiet. They realize that their garden isn't just for fairies; it is a safe place for real backyard animals, too.

As the sun begins to set, the garden looks magical in the golden light. Mai feels a sense of Pride because she created something special with her own two hands. She knows that as the plants grow, her secret garden will change and become even more beautiful.

The day is finished, and it is time to go inside. Mai takes one last look at the tiny bark roof and the petal carpet. She realizes that you don't need expensive toys to have a big adventure. If you built a secret garden, who would you invite to visit?
