جزئیات داستان

Hello! This is Mai. Today is a very big day. Mai is going to Kindergarten for the first time! She has a new yellow backpack and a little water bottle with a bird on it. Mai feels excited, but she also feels a little bit nervous.

First, Mai arrives at the School Gate. She learns about Bravery. She holds her mom’s hand very tight. Ms. Lan, the teacher, smiles and says, "Welcome, Mai!" Mai take a deep breath and steps inside the colorful classroom.

Next, Mai finds her Cubby. She learns about Order. There is a small box with her name and a picture of a flower. Mai puts her backpack and her shoes inside. "This is my special spot!" thinks Mai.

Now, it is Circle Time. She learns about Introduction. All the children sit on a big blue rug. "Hello, my name is Mai," she says softly. Everyone claps their hands. Mai realizes that all the other children are just like her.

Suddenly, Mai sees the Toy Corner. She learns about Exploration. There are blocks, dolls, and colorful puzzles. Mai starts to build a tall tower with a boy named Nam. "Look how high it goes!" says Nam.

Next, it is Snack Time. She learns about Manners. Mai sits at a small table with her new friends. They eat slices of sweet mango and crackers. "Please" and "Thank you" are the magic words everyone uses today.

Now, they go to the Playground. She learns about Action. Mai runs, slides, and swings. The sun is shining, and the air is full of laughter. Mai is having so much fun that she forgets to feel nervous.

Suddenly, Mai misses her Mom. She learns about Emotions. A little tear falls down her cheek. Ms. Lan gives her a soft tissue and a hug. "Mom will come back very soon, Mai. Let's go draw a picture for her!"

Next, Mai starts to Paint. She learns about Expression. She uses bright red and yellow to draw a big sun and a happy house. Drawing makes Mai feel calm and happy again. She can't wait to show her art to her family.

Now, it is Story Time. She learns about Listening. Ms. Lan reads a book about a brave little rabbit. Mai sits very still and listens to every word. She loves the pictures of the green forest and the blue sky.

The day is Finishing. She learns about Routine. Mai helps her friends put the toys back in the boxes. She puts on her backpack and waits by the door. She feels very proud because she was a "big girl" all day.

Then, Mai sees her Mom at the gate. She learns about Reunion. Mai runs into her mom's arms for a big hug. "I did it, Mom! I went to school!" shouts Mai. Her heart is full of happy stories to tell.

Finally, Mai goes home. She learns about Growth. She realized that school is a place for friends, games, and learning new things. "I want to go back tomorrow!" says Mai. Her first day was a wonderful adventure.

Mai’s school adventure is finished. She tells her teddy bear, "I made a friend named Nam today!" She realized that Starting something new can be scary, but it ends with a smile. If you went to school with Mai, would you play with the blocks or draw a picture?
