Hello! This is Atlas the Antelope. Atlas lives in the hot grasslands of Africa, but today he wants to learn where his animal friends live around the world!
Atlas starts in Africa. Who lives here? The big, grey Elephant lives here! Elephants are the biggest land animals. They love to splash in the water holes.
Atlas travels far to the cold, snowy lands of the North! Here lives Polaris the Polar Bear. Polar bears have thick, white fur to keep them warm in the snow and ice.
Atlas zooms to a place that is hot, wet, and green: the Rainforest! Here lives Miko the Monkey. Monkeys swing high in the trees and love to eat bananas.
Atlas visits the land of Australia! Here lives Kora the Kangaroo. Kangaroos have strong legs for hopping and a pouch to carry their babies!
Deep in the rainforests of South America is the long Amazon River. Here lives a long, green Anaconda Snake. The snake swims very well and likes to hide in the leaves.
Atlas travels to the mountains of China. Here lives Panda the Giant Panda. Pandas love to sit and munch on crunchy green bamboo all day long!
Some animals don't live on the land at all! They live in the Ocean! The Blue Whale swims in the ocean. The ocean is the biggest home on Earth!
Atlas hops to the big, quiet Forest of North America. Here lives the sneaky Grey Wolf. Wolves live in groups called packs and howl at the moon.
Not all animals walk! Many animals fly! A Parrot flies with colorful feathers. Birds can travel very far, very fast.
The world is a very big place! From the cold ice to the hot river, every animal has a special home where they are safe and happy.
Atlas learned about so many new friends! We must be kind to all animals and help protect their beautiful homes all around the globe!
