The Little Rubber Duck: Bath Time Fun
Join a cheerful little rubber duck on its exciting bath time adventure, as it bobs on waves, wears a bubble hat, and plays with friends in a bubbly world, before finally resting and awaiting its next splashy fun.
I am looking at a big, white bathtub. It is empty and quiet. But then, I hear the sound of water. Splosh! Splash! The warm water begins to fill the tub. It looks like a tiny indoor swimming pool.
I see a small, bright yellow object sitting on the edge of the tub. It is a rubber duck. It has a cute orange beak and tiny black eyes. It is waiting for the water to be just right.
The water is ready. I watch the little duck dive into the tub. Plop! It doesn't sink to the bottom. It stays on top because it can float. The duck bobs up and down on the gentle waves.
I see a hand pour some soap into the water. Suddenly, white bubbles start to grow. They grow bigger and higher. Now, the duck is surrounded by a mountain of soft, white foam.
I look at the duck’s head. A big bubble lands right on top of it! Now the duck is wearing a white, fluffy hat. It looks very funny. The bubbles smell like sweet strawberries.
To the little duck, the bubbles look like white clouds. I watch it glide through the foam. It moves slowly from one side of the tub to the other. It is a very peaceful journey.
I see a hand pick up the duck. Squeeze! The duck makes a loud sound. Squeak! Squeak! It sounds like it is laughing. When the hand lets go, the duck puffs back out to its normal shape.
I see other toys join the duck. A blue boat and a green frog plop into the water. They all float together. The tub is now full of colors: yellow, blue, and green.
I see the water start to move. Big waves go back and forth. Swish, swash! The duck rides the waves like a professional surfer. It never tips over; it always stays upright.
I see a soft purple washcloth scrubbing the duck. All the bubbles are washed away. Now the yellow duck is very clean and shiny. It sparkles under the bathroom light.
Bath time is over. I see the plug being pulled. The water starts to go down the drain. Glug, glug, glug! The water spins in a circle like a little whirlpool. The duck spins around and around.
The tub is empty and dry now. I see the little yellow duck sitting back on the shelf. It is tired but happy. It will wait there until the next bath time adventure.
