The Fox and the Tiger
A clever fox outsmarts a hungry tiger in this engaging fable about wit triumphing over strength. The story teaches a lesson about perception and quick thinking.
Once upon a time, a hungry tiger walked in the forest. He was looking for food.
Soon, the tiger saw a fox. The fox was small, but very clever.
The tiger jumped in front of the fox. “I will eat you!” said the tiger.
The fox was scared. But he had an idea.
“Do not eat me,” said the fox. “I am the king of the forest!”
The tiger laughed. “You? The king of the forest?”
“Yes,” said the fox. “All the animals are afraid of me.”
“Follow me,” said the fox. “You will see.”
The fox walked in front. The tiger walked behind him.
The animals saw the tiger. They were scared and ran away.
“Look!” said the fox. “They are all afraid of me!”
The tiger saw the animals run away. His eyes opened wide. “Maybe the fox is the king,” he thought.
But then the tiger stopped. “Wait,” said the tiger. “Were they afraid of you… or me?”
The fox was already gone. The tiger looked around. Then he understood. The fox had tricked him!
