Hello, I’m Zest! I’m 10 years old and love adventures. New countries light up my heart like lotus lamps, and I find a tradition on every street! My compass is buzzing—I’m in Thailand! At Bangkok’s Loy Krathong River, banana leaf krathongs float with glowing candles. The smell of pad thai fills the air, Songkran water fights splash everywhere, and grand royal statues stand tall. I feel happy inside—let’s explore this wonderful culture!

In a flower garland workshop in Chiang Mai, surrounded by orchids and jasmines, I meet Naree! Her black hair shines with a blue lotus pin, and her brown eyes sparkle. She wears a pink phasin skirt with flowers and carries a bag with an elephant charm. “Sawasdee!” she says with a smile. “What does that mean?” I ask. “Hello and respect!” she replies, giving me a flower garland. The sweet scent fills the air, and I’m excited to learn more about Thai culture!

At a Muay Thai school in Chiang Mai, I watch Naree throw strong punches. “Strength and discipline!” she says, punching the air. I try too, curious and excited. Thailand’s martial art makes me feel powerful and focused!

At the Songkran festival in Phuket, Naree and I grab water guns! The streets are full of water fights, and people laugh and dance. “This is the time for joy!” Naree giggles. My flower clip gets wet, and I feel thrilled. This holiday makes my heart happy!
