Ollie swims past a school of colorful Fish. Fish have shiny scales and strong Fins that help them swim quickly through the water.
Ollie meets the biggest animal in the ocean: the Whale! The whale is a gentle giant. It needs to swim up to the surface to breathe air through its blowhole.
Down on the sandy bottom, Ollie sees Clara the Crab. Clara has a hard outer shell and walks sideways using her ten small legs. She uses her claws to grab food.
Ollie finds a colorful Starfish resting on a rock. The starfish has five arms and can stick to things. It looks just like a star!
Ollie meets a friend who looks like a tiny horse. This is the Seahorse! The seahorse swims upright and curls its long tail around seaweed to hold on in the current.
Ollie watches a sleek Seal swimming very fast! Seals are great swimmers. Their bodies are smooth and slippery, which helps them glide through the water easily.
Ollie sees a slow-moving Snail carrying its home! The snail's Shell is hard and protects its soft body from bumps and other animals.
Ollie swims to the Coral Reef. The reef is like a busy, colorful city for many fish. The coral itself is a living animal!
Ollie and the fish breathe underwater using Gills. Gills help them take oxygen right out of the water, so they never have to go up for air.
Ollie learned that the ocean is a huge, wonderful home for millions of different creatures. Every animal has a special way to live underwater!
Ollie is happy in the deep blue sea! We must keep the ocean clean and safe so all these amazing sea animals can thrive in their beautiful home.
