This is NianNian — bright and deep, With stories dancing in his sleep. He wears a crown and says with cheer, “I’ll write the tales the world will hear!”

He grabs a pen and notebook new. His thoughts begin to tumble through.

He writes of cats who climb the moon, And cheese that sings a bedtime tune!

He writes of dreams and secret maps, Of talking socks and time-lost naps.

He draws a tree with books for leaves, And bees who buzz in patterned weaves.

He reads his words out loud and clear. The forest stops — they want to hear!

He edits well, erases, checks. He folds his pages into decks.

He makes a shelf for tales so wide. “My books,” he smiles, “will live inside.”

He hands a friend a tale to keep. It makes them laugh, and almost weep.

“I write with heart, with joy, with light. I’m NianNian — I love to write!”
