Wind! Wind! Look! The tree moves! "Oh no," says Clem.
"The tree falls!" Squirrel calls, "Help!" Clem says, "Hold on!"
She runs fast. The wind blows hard. Leaves fly in her face. She sees the tree bend.
Squirrel jumps, "Look out!" Clem spots the nest. "I must get it!" She holds a big stick.
The wind pushes her. She moves and moves.
"Come here, squirrels!" she calls. Squirrel friends come. They run to Clem’s arms.
"Hold tight," says Clem. The tree shakes. It falls down! Crash! The ground shakes.
Clem holds squirrels close. "Safe now," she says. Squirrels chatter, "Thank you!" Clem smiles.
Wind stops. The sky is calm. Clem hugs them all. "We did it," she says.
The squirrels climb Clem’s arms. They laugh and chirp. The tree is down, but the friends are safe.
