They trudged along, through frosty air, Met a big bear, fluffy with hair. The bear smiled wide, a friendly face, “You seek a pebble, in this cold place?”
Barnaby nodded, “Yes, I do! For Auntie’s heart, to make it new.”
The bear then led them, with a bound, To where a walrus could be found.
The walrus, old, with whiskers long, He hummed a soft and gentle song.
“A singing pebble, you desire? True warmth, young one, sets hearts afire. Your kindness shown, your journey bright, Has filled your auntie’s heart with light."
Barnaby blinked, then looked around, No pebble sang, no special sound. But in his heart, a warmth did glow, He knew the truth, he felt it grow.
He hurried back, with waddle fast, The chilly journey, now in the past.
His Auntie smiled, a brand new sight, Her grumpy frown had taken flight.
