Lily and the Rainbow Shadow

Lily, a little girl with a fuzzy purple hat, discovers a magical rainbow shadow cast by a window prism. She chases the elusive, giggling colors, learning to find joy in their playful dance, even though they are always just out of reach.

3 - 5 ឆ្នាំ

Lily always wore her fuzzy, purple hat, even inside. One sunny morning, a rainbow burst from her window prism! Her shadow, usually so plain, started to wiggle with fiery reds and shimmering blues.

“Oh!” Lily gasped, her eyes wide. She stretched out a tiny hand, wanting to scoop up the dancing colors. The rainbow-shadow leaped away, giggling, it seemed.

Lily chased the colors. She pounced, but the red light skipped past her fingers. Zoom! “Come back, you sneaky red!” she cried, her brow furrowing.

The sunbeam shifted. Now, a bright yellow bounced on her wall. Lily tried to cup it. “Gotcha!” she cheered, but the yellow light slipped through her grasp, sparkling mischievously.

Then, a cool blue patch appeared on her rug. Lily knelt down, very slowly. Her fingers twitched. She lunged! Her small hand slammed down. Nothing! Just rug. The blue light winked from the curtain, far away.

Lily’s bottom lip quivered, almost a pout. But then, it giggled again! The rainbow colors swirled, making her own shadow dance in a riot of happy light.

She laughed, a loud, clear sound, as the colors bounced away and reappeared, forever just out of reach, but always there.
