A little boy herding sheep got bored and yelled "Wolf" twice to trick the villagers into coming up the mountain. Seeing everyone panic, he laughed heartily. The villagers were very angry. Later, the wolf really came. The boy desperately cried for help, but no one believed him. As a result, his sheep were eaten by the wolf. Lesson: We must not lie and must be honest children. If you lie frequently, others will no longer trust you when you need help.
"The Boy Who Cried Wolf"Once upon a time, there lived a little boy in a small town. Every day, he had to take the sheep to the mountain and watch over them.
One day, he felt extremely bored, so he decided to play a prank on the villagers in the village. Therefore, when he saw the villagers working hard down the mountain, he shouted at the top of his voice, "Wolf! Wolf! Come and save me!"
Hearing his shouts, the villagers immediately put down their farm work, picked up hoes and poles and rushed up the mountain quickly.
However, when they arrived at the mountain out of breath, they found that there was no sign of a wolf at all. There was only a little boy laughing heartily there.
The villagers said angrily, "How could you be so naughty, boy? You're even telling lies!"
After saying that, they went back down the mountain.
A few days later, the boy felt bored again. So he imitated the previous scene and shouted down the mountain, "Wolf! Wolf! This time it's real!"
Although the villagers were a bit suspicious and distrustful in their hearts, they were still worried that something might happen to the boy, so they decided to go up the mountain to check again.
As a result, they still didn't find the wolf. The boy was still there, laughing non - stop.
The villagers were extremely angry. They thought the boy was hopeless and decided never to pay attention to his calls again.
However, before long, a real wolf came. It broke into the flock and began to bite the sheep fiercely.
The boy was so scared that he didn't know what to do. He shouted with all his might, "Wolf! A real wolf is here! Come and save me!"
But this time, the villagers down the mountain didn't hear his voice. They thought he was lying for fun again, so no one went up the mountain.
In the end, the wolf killed all the sheep, and the boy almost got eaten by the wolf.

From this story, we can deeply understand that lying is an extremely bad habit. It not only makes people lose others' trust, but may also lead to serious consequences. Once a person starts lying, it becomes extremely difficult to tell others the truth. Even if they tell the truth later, no one will believe them anymore.
