-
One hot day, Jackal walked alone.
Leaves blew dry. Wind went whooo.
Boom-boom! went sound. Jackal froze.
“Is it a monster?” he whispered.
He hid low. The sound stayed.
It came from behind a tree.
Step by step, he crept near.
He saw a drum! No teeth!
The branch hit— Boom-boom! Boom!
Jackal blinked. “No monster here.”
He tapped—Bop! It bounced back.
He laughed. “Just a pot!”
Then he saw a sack!
Meat inside! Dry and sweet.
He wagged. He grabbed it.
He sat. He chewed.
Now he listens before he runs.
Because sometimes, booms mean snacks!
