The Unexpected Rain The Rabbit and the Dove were on a walk when rain suddenly fell. The Rabbit got soaked and shivered.

The Dove said, “We need shelter.” They ran to a large tree.

The rain grew heavier, and the tree wasn’t enough. The Dove spread its wings to shield the Rabbit.

The Rabbit placed a big leaf on the Dove’s head. “I’ll cover you too!”

They giggled even as the rain poured.

The rain softened, and the air smelled warm and earthy. “We’re safe now,” the Rabbit sighed.

A rainbow appeared as the rain stopped. They held hands and admired the colors.
