"I want to be a chef!" says Max.

Lily laughs. "You? A chef? Okay, little chef!"

Max puts on a big hat. "Let's cook!" he says.

Crack! The egg goes on Lily's head.

Lily giggles. Max giggles. Hee hee hee!

Max stirs the flour. Very fast. Very, very fast!

Now Max is white. Now Lily is white. Everything is white!

"Now the honey!" says Max. Drip… drip… drip…

A bee comes in. Then two bees. Then… a lot of bees!

Max looks at the kitchen. Max is sad. "I am not a chef."

Lily sits down. "But Max… look what we made!"

One cake! A small, funny, yummy cake!

Lily eats some. Max eats some. The bee eats some too.

"Again!" says Max. Lily laughs. "Again!" she says.
