Ollie is an elephant who worries about everything, from his soup being too hot to bees in his hat. On his first day of school, he's full of worries until he meets Lulu, a small penguin who shares his anxieties. Together, they discover that school isn't so bad after all, especially with a friend by your side.

4 - 8 år gammel

Ollie worried a lot.

He worried about his soup. “What if it is too hot?”

He worried about his shoes. “What if they are too tight?”

He worried about his hat. “What if there is a bee inside?”

Mama said, “Ollie, you worry too much.” Papa said, “Ollie, you worry too much.”

Ollie worried about that too. “What if I worry too much?”

Then came a big day. The first day of school.

Ollie worried all morning. “What if no one likes me?”

“What if the chairs are too small?”

“What if I sit down… CRACK!”

Ollie held his trunk tight. He walked into school.

The classroom was big and bright. Many children were there.

Ollie stood by the door. He did not know what to do.

Then he saw a small penguin. She held her backpack tight.

“Hello,” said Ollie. “Hello,” said the penguin.“I am Lulu.”

“I am Ollie,” said Ollie. “Are you worried?”

“A little,” said Lulu. “Me too,” said Ollie.

They sat down together. The chair did not break.

They drew pictures together. They laughed together.

That night, Mama asked, “How was school?”

“It was good,” said Ollie. “I was worried.”

“But Lulu was with me.” Ollie smiled. “School was okay.”
