Once upon a time, in the animal kingdom, a wise and strong lion ruled. A big and strong elephant helped him. Together, they kept the kingdom happy, peaceful, and safe.

The kingdom never lacked food. They always had plenty, even when they had big parties and everyone was always happy.

But one day, the rain didn't come, and the plants started to dry up. New plants didn't grow. The food began to run out. They didn't have any left to eat. "My king! We'll soon run out of food," said the leopard. "The whole kingdom will go hungry!"

The lion growled and looked at the elephant. The elephant shook his head sadly. "What can we do to get food?" asked the lion. He looked at his advisors, but none of them knew what to do.

"Father," said the little lion cub, "can we ask the other animals for help? They might know what to do." The lion king shook his head. "They don't know anything," he said.

The little lion cub didn't give up. He went to ask his friend, a clever marmot kit, for help. "Our land is going hungry, and the animals are fighting each other. My father and his advisors don't know what to do''

"Can you think of something to solve this?" the little lion cub asked. The marmot kit smiled. "I'm not sure, but my father might know. He always finds food for us, even when it's hard to find."

They went to the marmot's house and told him the problem. The marmot listened carefully and then said, "I did save some food. My father taught me to always save for the future."

The little lion cub's eyes widened in surprise. "But why did you save food when everyone else was wasting it?" he asked. The marmot smiled sadly. "My father always said that just because others are wasting their food, it doesn't mean we should too."

The little lion cub nodded, understanding. "That makes sense," he said. "But can you help us now? Can you share your food with us?" The marmot thought for a moment before responding...

"I'd like to help, but my food won't be enough for everyone. However, I think I know what we can do. We can ask the other animals if they saved any food too."

"If we all share what we have, we might have enough for everyone." The little lion cub's face lit up. "That's a great idea! Let's do it!" They went to ask the other animals for help.

The rabbit, the squirrel, the bee, and even the whale all agreed to share their food. The little lion cub was amazed at how much food they had when they all shared.

They brought the lion king to the storage where they kept the food. The lion king was proud of his little cub and the other animals for working together to solve the problem

The animals all cheered and celebrated. They were happy to have food again, and they knew they could always count on each other for help.

And then, just as they were celebrating, the sky grew dark and rain started pouring down. The animals all looked up and smiled. The rain had come, and their plants would grow again. The little lion cub looked up at his father and said, "I'm glad we worked together and saved food. Now we can enjoy the rain and watch our plants grow again." THE END!
