In a tree near a pond, Sparrow made a nest.

Inside the nest Were two small eggs.

One day, a big elephant came. He stomped through the trees.

CRACK! He broke the nest.

The eggs broke. Sparrow was sad.

Elephant said, “I go anywhere. I am big!”

Sparrow was mad. “You broke my home!”

But Elephant laughed. He walked away.

Sparrow flew to Woodpecker. “He broke my eggs.”

“We will stop him,” Said Woodpecker.

They called Bee. “Let’s sting him!”

They found Frog. “Want to help?”

Frog said, “Yes!” He had a plan.

Next day, Bee buzzed. Buzz! Buzz!

Elephant yelled, “Go away!”

Woodpecker flew fast. Tap! Tap!

Elephant ran! His feet went THUMP!

Frog sat by a hole. “Water here!” he called.

Elephant ran— And fell in!

Sparrow looked down. “We are small—but strong!”
