They fell off.

Squirrel was stuck. "Help!" Lily pulled. A button popped. Gone!

Bunny cried. "My carrot!" Lily dug fast. A button flew. Gone!

Bird fell down. "Oh no!" Lily flew up. A button slipped. Gone!

Lily felt sad. Her buttons left.

She held her last button tight. No more lost gems.

Lily smiled. Her hands held fast. Safe now.
