I am Carlo! I have my helmet and bright flashlight. I want to explore inside!

It is very dark inside the cave. I need my light to see the strong stone walls.

Drip, drip, drop! I hear water dripping from the cave ceiling. It sounds like a slow song.

Look up! These are stalactites. They are long, shiny icicle shapes hanging from the top.

And look down! These are stalagmites. They are like stone hills growing up from the floor.

Shhh! A small bat is sleeping upside down! It is a gentle creature of the night.

I see a spider web stretched across a corner. The cave is a home for many tiny things.

Wow! My light shines on a piece of rock. It has a tiny, sparkly, colorful crystal inside!

I walk slowly on the smooth, wet stone floor. The air here is very fresh and cool.

I found a surprise! A small, still pool of clear water deep inside the mountain.

Now I am walking back out! The sunlight feels bright and warm. I had a great cave adventure!
