"Where is this place? Why am I here?" An empty memory sets in. "This is it, isn't it? I'm becoming delusional," He muttered.

Just then, he notices something he hadn't noticed before; candy canes hanging on the branches of a few certain trees. The candy cane adorned trees lead through the forest in a certain direction.

His thoughts told him it was a forest village of a sort; the kind with sturdy wooden houses and the rare brick chimneys he hardly saw in the city where he lived.

The slightly cracked door pushes open and standing in the bright doorway is a... gingerbread man... and life sized too.

"I- wow, what even are you?" Evan asked, staring straight into the two candied eyes of the gingerbread man. A long pause. "I'm... a Christmas biscuit." Came the unsure reply.

"Right. Okay, I'm delusional, so this isn't my reality." Evan quietly told himself. He was shocked, yes, but this is rather exciting. Things like such didn't usually happen to him.

"Very unusual." The biscuit concluded. "But we do receive visitors quite often this time of the year. Just... don't eat any of my cookie furniture. Your species seems to always have a knack for these. One time one human came and took a bite off my table." He huffed.

They even had piping hot tea in cups of marshmallows that melted almost instantly and blocks of sugar for lunch. At long last, Evan decided to return home from this crazy dream. The gingerbreadman had been so kind to lend him his flying pig for the ride home and even gave him some chocolates and a small piece of paper.

A story should not only consist of good grammar and deep choice of words, but a vast sea of crazy ideas and endless imaginations. ~ THE END ~
