Welcome to our big, bright garden! Look around so many plants are growing here! Some grow tall on trees, some hide underground, and some love climbing vines. Can you hear the leaves rustling in the wind? Let’s take a walk and see what delicious fruits and vegetables we can find!

Look up! What do you see hanging from the tree? It's an apple! Apples can be red, green, or yellow. They are round, crunchy, and sweet. When you take a bite, they make a loud crunch! Apples are a yummy and healthy snack. Have you ever eaten an apple before? What color was it?

Something is hiding under the soil! Let’s pull it out… Pop! It’s a carrot! Carrots grow underground and have long, green leaves on top. They are crunchy and sweet, and eating them helps keep your eyes strong and healthy. Have you ever seen a bunny nibbling on a carrot? Can you crunch like a bunny?

Look at these yellow fruits hanging from the tree! They are bananas! Bananas are soft, sweet, and easy to peel. They give you lots of energy to run, jump, and play. Monkeys love bananas too! Can you pretend to peel a banana like a monkey? What sound does a monkey make?

Do you see these long, green vegetables growing on the vine? They are cucumbers! Cucumbers are cool, fresh, and crunchy. They have tiny seeds inside and taste delicious in salads. On a hot day, cucumbers help keep you cool and refreshed! Can you pretend to take a big, crunchy bite?

Look at these tiny, red fruits! They are strawberries! Strawberries grow on small plants close to the ground. They are soft, sweet, and smell so good! If you gently touch them, you can feel their tiny little seeds on the outside. Have you ever eaten a strawberry? What do they taste like?

Wow! Look at this huge, round vegetable! It’s a pumpkin! Pumpkins grow big and heavy, and their bright orange color makes them easy to spot. Some people use pumpkins to make pies, soups, and even lanterns! Pumpkins have lots of tiny seeds inside. Can you imagine what’s hiding inside this big pumpkin?

This fruit is big, round, and green on the outside… but look inside! It’s red, juicy, and full of tiny black seeds! It’s a watermelon! Watermelons are sweet and full of water, making them the perfect fruit for a hot day. Eating watermelon can be messy, but it’s so much fun! Have you ever tried watermelon? How does it taste?

These little red fruits look like apples, but they are tomatoes! Tomatoes grow on vines and can be big or small. Some are round, and some are oval shaped. They are juicy and used in many foods like pasta sauce, salads, and soups! Some people even eat them raw. Would you like to try a tiny, juicy tomato?

Look at these tall, green plants! They are corn stalks! Inside the husks, there are rows of yellow corn kernels. Corn is sweet and crunchy, and it can be cooked in so many ways! Have you ever eaten popcorn? Popcorn comes from corn! Can you pretend to pop like a piece of popcorn?

What an amazing garden we have explored! We found apples, carrots, bananas, cucumbers, strawberries, pumpkins, watermelons, tomatoes, and corn! So many colors, shapes, and flavors! Each fruit and vegetable is special and healthy in its own way. Which one is your favorite? Let’s say thank you to our beautiful garden for all the delicious food!
