Story Details

Once upon a time, a little green caterpillar lived on a shiny red apple. The red apple was big and yummy, hanging from a tree in the sunny garden.

One day, the green caterpillar felt very sleepy. “I need a nap,” she said. She curled up on her red apple and fell fast asleep.

After a long, long nap, something magical happened! The green caterpillar woke up and wasn’t a caterpillar anymore! She had turned into a beautiful blue butterfly! She flapped her new blue wings and flew up into the sky.

The blue butterfly saw a bright yellow flower below. She landed softly on the yellow flower. “How pretty!” said the blue butterfly.

By the pond, some green frogs were jumping around. They saw the blue butterfly on the yellow flower. “Ribbit! Ribbit! Look at the blue butterfly,” the green frogs said, smiling and hopping near the yellow flowers.

The blue butterfly flew around with her blue wings, the yellow flowers waved, and the green frogs hopped and splashed by the pond. The big red apple still hung from the tree, shining in the sun.

Every day, the blue butterfly, the yellow flowers, the green frogs, and the red apple made the garden full of happy, bright colors.
