Story Details

Lily and Goldie were inseparable.

On Lily’s first day of school, Goldie waited in a corner of the room,

When Lily first learned how to ride a bicycle,

Then there was that time Lily had to go to the dentist. Goldie held her hand the whole time…

Until Goldie whispered to her:

Lily tried to imagine life without Goldie, but she couldn’t. So she held on tight. But deep down, she knew what she had to do.

And one morning, off Goldie went, on his long and adventurous journey.

As time passed by…Goldie crossed many oceans, met new faces, and visited wonderful places.

And Lily made new friends at school, managed to not fall off her bicycle, and wasn’t so scared of the dentist anymore.

But there were days that were difficult and sad.

One day, she was at a birthday party surrounded by many people she didn’t know.

So she went up to say hi.

And soon, Lily and Ruby were inseparable. Wherever Lily was, Ruby was there.
