Puppy and a Wish
On a beautiful evening, while taking a walk, Puppy suddenly met a little star. The little star granted Puppy one wish. What would Puppy do with that wish?
On a quiet evening, Puppy was walking through the meadow when he suddenly saw something glowing on the grass. "Oh, a little star!". Puppy exclaimed in surprise.
Puppy said, "Hi, little star, I'm Puppy. What are you doing here?" The little star replied, "Hello, Puppy. I'm Timi. I got lost and can't find my parents, so I have to stay here." Puppy felt very sorry for Timi.
"Don't worry, Puppy. I believe that one day I'll be able to return to my family. Since you're my first friend here, I'll give you a wish," Timi said. Puppy smiled happily and thought to himself, "I want to wish for lots of yummy food."
Suddenly, as if he had remembered something, Puppy asked Timi, "So why don’t you use your wish to go back home, Timi?" Timi said sadly, "I wish I could, but I can't make the wish myself. It’s the rule."
After hearing Timi's words, Puppy happily said, "I know what to wish for now. I wish for Timi to go back to his family!". Timi was surprised and touched by Puppy's kindness. "Thank you so much, Puppy" Timi said.
Just as he finished speaking, Timi made his wish. He flew up into the air, glowing with a bright light that lit up the whole meadow. Then, he turned into a streak of light and zoomed up into the sky.
Puppy watched Timi and hoped he would soon be with his family again.
From that night on, the little star never forgot Puppy’s kindness. It became the brightest star in the sky, always lighting Puppy’s path whenever he went out at night. Puppy would look up and smile, knowing that his wish had made someone else happy. “That’s my little star,” he’d say proudly. And the star would twinkle back, as if saying, “Thank you, Puppy.”
