In Sunshine Town lived a cute puppy named Benben. Benben was wonderful in every way, except he always slouched. When he ate, he would lean to one side; when he watched TV, he would slump on the floor like a lump of clay. His mom always reminded him, "Benben, sit up straight, or you'll be sorry!" But Benben didn't care at all. "It's fine, Mom," he'd say. "As long as I'm comfortable."

Story Details

Sunlight streamed into the cozy kitchen. Benben the puppy sat at the dining table, leaning to one side, ready to eat.

After eating, in the living room with the TV on, Benben sprawled on the floor like a lump of clay.

His mom would always nag, "Benben, sit up straight, or you'll regret it!" But Benben didn't care. "It's fine, Mom. I'm comfortable this way."

One day, the school held a sports day, and Benben signed up for the running race. He thought to himself, "I run so fast, the championship is definitely mine!"

At the sports day competition, all the contestants stood at the starting line. Benben was full of confidence and eager to start.

The starting gun fired, and Benben shot off like an arrow from a bow. He was very fast at the beginning.

After running for a while, Benben's body started to wobble, and his steps became unsteady.

Gradually, the other little animals started passing Benben one by one. Watching them run ahead, Benben shouted anxiously.

The race ended. The contestants cheered as they crossed the finish line, while Benben stood alone in the distance, head down, looking dejected.

Dejected, Benben returned home. He pushed open the door to find his mom waiting to greet him.

In the living room, Benben sat on the sofa, crying as he told his mom about how he lost the race.

His mom patiently explained how his poor posture caused him to lose the race. Benben looked full of regret.

From then on, when Benben sat at the dining table to eat, he made an effort to straighten his back and maintain good posture.

When Benben sat at his desk to do homework, he also maintained the same good posture.

At the next sports day, during the running race, Benben ran with all his might and was the first to cross the finish line, his face beaming with a victorious smile.

Dear children, we should be like the reformed Benben and maintain good posture. This will make our bodies stronger and give us more energy for everything we do! Good night, and may you have sweet dreams.
