Story Details

In Sunshine Town, there lived a lively little boy named Qiqi. Qiqi loved to play, but the mere mention of studying gave him a headache.

Every day after school, he would toss his schoolbag aside and run off to play soccer with his friends, always putting off his homework until late at night.

Once, after a math quiz, the results came out. Qiqi stared at the bright red crosses on his test paper, feeling terribly upset. His deskmate, Lingling, got a perfect score, and Qiqi was extremely envious,

He couldn't help but ask, "Lingling, how do you always do so well on tests?" Lingling smiled and said, "Because every day when I get home, I first finish my homework carefully, then review what I learned that day, and preview the material for the next day. With good study habits, learning naturally becomes easy."

After hearing this, Qiqi decided to learn from Lingling.

That evening when he got home, he didn't go out to play. Instead, he sat properly at his desk and opened his workbook. But before he could write more than a few words,

the laughter of his friends playing outside drifted in, and Qiqi started to feel restless. He thought to himself, "Just for a little while, it should be fine."

But he ended up playing for so long that he lost track of time, and once again had to rush through his homework.

The next day in class, because Qiqi hadn't prepared properly, he couldn't understand many of the key points. When the teacher asked him a question, he just stood there, his face flushing red, unable to say a single word. Now, Qiqi fully realized the seriousness of the problem,

He secretly vowed, "I must break my bad habits!"

Qiqi made a detailed study plan for himself. After school, he would first spend half an hour organizing his schoolbag, neatly arranging the books and stationery he needed. Then, he would spend an hour carefully doing his homework,

taking a ten-minute break after finishing each subject. After his homework, he would spend another half hour reviewing the day's lessons, reading and memorizing the key points, and marking anything he didn't understand,

to ask the teacher the next day. Finally, he would preview the new material for the following day.

At first, Qiqi found it very difficult to stick to his plan. But whenever he felt like giving up, he would remember his terrible test score.

Slowly, Qiqi developed good habits. In class, he actively participated, and his thinking became more and more agile. He completed his homework quickly and well, making fewer and fewer mistakes.

When another test came around, Qiqi felt confident. When the results were announced, he had made great progress. The teacher praised him, and his classmates all applauded for him. Qiqi smiled happily. He knew that it was his good study habits that had made him better.
