Story Details

Once, a raindrop named Plip fell from the sky, With a shimmer so bright, it could wink like an eye.

Down, down, Plip splashed on a leaf with a cheer, “I’ll sparkle my way through adventures, my dear!”

But oh! The sun rose, so hot and so sly, Plip winked and shrank—up, up to the sky!

Up high, Plip floated, a cloud it became, Winking at birds in a fluffy white frame.

Then whoosh! The wind blew, to a cold, frosty place, Plip winked and fell—snow with a delicate grace!

Plip gleamed as a flake, all icy and bright, Winking at hills in the chilly daylight.

Then spring came along, so warm and so slow, Plip melted and trickled—down, down it would flow!

Plip splashed in a river, so twisty and long, Winking at fish as it rolled right along.

And there it stayed, with a final bright gleam, “I’ve solved it,” Plip cheered, “I’m part of the stream!”
