Crazy Cinnamon and the Carrot Caper
NianNian visited Cleo’s farm. The cage was open, and carrots were gone! They followed claw marks and found her cat Cinnamon with chewed carrots. “C is for Cage, Carrot, Cat, Cord – and Crazy Cinnamon too!” Cleo laughed.
NianNian visited his friend Cleo at her farm, where she had grown many fresh Carrots.
“I’ve been growing them all week!” said Cleo, pointing to the Cage where her rabbits lived.
But when they got close, the gate was wide open.
“The cage is open! And... the carrots are gone!” Cleo gasped.
“Who could have taken them?” NianNian asked, looking around.
They spotted a tiny Claw mark in the dirt – and then, paw prints.
Following the trail, they found Cleo’s Cat, a lazy one named Cinnamon, lying in the grass.
Around Cinnamon were half-eaten Carrots!
“Cinnamon! Cats don’t even eat carrots!” sighed Cleo.
“Maybe the gate creaked open and he dragged them out,” NianNian guessed.
They picked up the carrots and tied the gate shut with a strong Cord.
Cleo smiled: “C is for Cage, Carrot, Cat, Cord – and Crazy Cinnamon too!”
