Story Details

A special concert was being prepared on the Moon.

NianNian was invited to be the conductor for the “Concert Without Borders.”

NianNian picked a group of kids from many Middle Eastern countries. Each child brought a traditional musical instrument.

But during practice, they started arguing. “My music is better!” “No! My melody is best!”

NianNian did not get angry. He sat down, smiled, and said: “Every sound is beautiful in its own way.”

The group began to listen to one another. Slowly, the messy sounds turned into a gentle song.

After many days of practice, they created a brand new song. They named it “The Martian Friend.”

On concert day, their music echoed across the Moon. People on Earth and Mars watched through big screens.

Nobody spoke the same language, but everyone understood the music. They smiled, and some even cried happy tears.

NianNian said, “Music is the language of the heart.” And from that day, the children became best friends.
