Story Details

This is NianNian — calm and bright, He dreams of gold and temple light. He wears his crown and softly says, “Let’s go to Bangkok — bright my days!”

He wears a sash, so neat and sweet, And bows with hands in prayerful greet.

The Grand Palace glows in golden hue, With rooftops high and skies so blue.

He walks through halls of royal pride, Where tales of kings and queens reside.

Walls are carved with dragons bold, Umbrellas shine in threads of gold.

Through palace gates he walks with care, To find the Emerald Buddha there.

He bows in peace, his mind feels clear, Among the bells, the light, the dear.

He writes, “I’ve learned to still my mind, And seek the calm that’s hard to find.”

He draws the temple, lotus bloom, And gives his friend the sketch with room.

“I learn with heart, with hands that pray. I’m NianNian — kindness lights my way.”
