Story Details

Early in the morning, Panda arrived at Narita Airport. “Hello Tokyo!” he cheered, pulling his yellow suitcase. Sunlight streamed through the big glass windows, and a sign said, “Welcome to Tokyo!”

Without delay, Panda hopped on a train. “It’s fast like a rocket!” he laughed as trees, Mount Fuji, and rooftops flew past. He hugged his backpack, eyes sparkling with joy.

At his hotel in Shinjuku, Panda opened a big map. “Where should I go first?” he wondered, red marker in paw.

His first stop was Tokyo Tower. Standing below the tall red-orange tower, Panda looked up. “Wow, it’s so high!” he said, amazed.

Next, he wandered into Ueno Park. Cherry blossoms floated like pink snow, and sleepy cats napped on benches. “So green and peaceful,” Panda whispered.

Walking made Panda hungry. At Tsukiji Market, he tried sushi for the first time. Holding chopsticks carefully, he smiled as the fresh fish melted in his mouth. The market buzzed all around.

After lunch, Panda strolled through Harajuku. Bright clothes, wild hairstyles, and fun shops surrounded him. “Everyone here looks so cool!” he grinned.

Nearby, he visited Meiji Shrine. Beneath the tall wooden gate, Panda closed his eyes and made a wish. Incense floated softly in the air.

On the way back, Panda joined an origami class. “Folding paper cranes is fun!” he giggled. The table was full of colorful paper animals.

As night fell, Panda stood at Shibuya Crossing. Neon lights flashed, and crowds moved like rivers. “It’s as bright as daytime!” he shouted with joy.

Before returning to the hotel, Panda stopped to buy souvenirs—a lucky cat, sweet mochi, and a red Daruma doll. His paper bag was full of treasures.

Back in his room, Panda wrote in his journal:“Tokyo was amazing! I’ll come back!” Around him were souvenirs, a photo, and his folded map—sweet memories of the day.
