Story Details

By a distant sea, there lived an old fisherman. He hadn't caught a single fish for over eighty days, yet he never lost hope.

At dawn on the eighty-fifth day, the old man, as usual, set sail alone into the boundless ocean.

Suddenly, the fishing line sank sharply. The old man knew that a big fish had taken the bait!

This struggle lasted a full day and night. The old man held onto the fishing line tightly, not daring to relax for a moment.

Finally, the entire fish came into view. It was a marlin even longer than the small boat!

With all his strength, the old man finally tied the marlin to the side of the boat and began his journey home.

However, the smell of blood attracted a pack of fierce sharks.

The old man fearlessly engaged in a fierce battle with the sharks!

Despite his desperate resistance, there were too many sharks. The marlin was reduced to nothing but a skeleton.

When the old man returned to the shore, everyone marvelled at his courage and perseverance. He knew that as long as one held hope in their heart, they could never truly be defeated.
