Story Details

One sunny morning, NianNian woke up early and smiled. “Today, I will do everything by myself!”

NianNian brushed his teeth slowly. Some toothpaste got on his nose! But he did not give up.

Then, NianNian tried to dress himself. It was tricky, but he put on his crown last and said, “I did it!”

In the kitchen, NianNian poured milk into a cup. Some spilled, but he wiped it with a towel.

After breakfast, NianNian packed his school bag. He checked: books, crayons, snacks — all ready!

At school, NianNian opened the door and greeted the teacher: “Good morning, I came all by myself!”

During playtime, NianNian helped a friend tie shoelaces. “I learned to do this at home,” he said proudly.

After school, NianNian waited patiently for the bus. He remembered to hold his backpack tight.

When he got home, he took off his shoes and put them neatly. “Just like a big kid!” he said.

That night, NianNian cuddled his blanket. “Today, I did many things by myself. I can do it!”
