Sunny Wants to Fly
Sunny is a little chicken with a big dream — to fly like the birds who dance across the morning sky. But no matter how hard he flaps, he always lands with a puff of dust. One day, Sunny decides to find the secret of flight. His journey takes him past rivers, meadows, and mountains, where he meets Ducky, Rabbit, and Eagle — each teaching him something new about strength, courage, and believing in yourself. Under a sky full of stars and fireflies, Sunny finally spreads his wings one last time...
Sunny Wants to Fly
Every morning, Sunny watched the birds dance in the sky. They flapped and soared under the golden sun. Sunny spread his wings wide and whispered, “If I have wings too… why can’t I fly?”
He tried flapping as hard as he could. He jumped, he ran, he leapt— but always landed with a soft thud and a puff of dust. Still, he dreamed: One day, I’ll touch the sky!
One morning, Sunny made a plan. “If I can’t fly from the ground,” he said, “I’ll go somewhere higher!” And off he went, following the warm sunlight.
At the river, Sunny met Ducky gliding across the water. “Ducky! Can you teach me to fly?” Ducky chuckled. “I can’t fly high either, but I can float and paddle. Maybe your wings can help you glide too!”
Sunny flapped his wings above the water. He almost fell—but caught the wind just enough to glide for one, two, three seconds! He laughed. “I did it… a little!”
Farther ahead, Sunny met Rabbit hopping over tall grass. “Maybe jumping helps!” said Rabbit. “Use your legs and wings together!” Sunny nodded and took a deep breath.
He jumped as high as Rabbit—and flapped with all his might! He lifted… and landed softly again. “Still not flying,” he sighed. Rabbit smiled. “But you went higher than before.”
Sunny walked and climbed until he reached a cliff. There stood Eagle, strong and still, with wings wide and bright. “Why do you wish to fly?” Eagle asked gently. “To see the world from the sky,” Sunny said.
Eagle nodded. “Flying isn’t only about wings. It’s about knowing the wind—and knowing yourself.” Then he pointed to the valley below. “Your wings were made for something special too.”
That night, the valley glowed with fireflies. Sunny watched their lights twinkle like tiny stars. He felt something bright inside his heart. “I’ll try one last time—my way.”
Sunny climbed to the edge, took a deep breath, and spread his wings. “Here I go!” he shouted. Then—he jumped!
For a few seconds—he was flying! Wind brushed his feathers, stars sparkled below, and the world felt wide and beautiful. Sunny laughed, his heart glowing like the moon.
He landed gently in a field of glowing flowers. Not as high as an eagle, not as far as the birds— but he was smiling. He had done it.
Eagle’s words echoed in his mind: “Your light shines brightest when you believe in yourself.” Sunny looked at his wings. “They’re just right for me.”
From then on, Sunny still watched the birds fly high, but he never felt small again. He had found his own way to shine.
Everyone has different wings When you believe in yourself, you can shine too
