Story Details

Little Pip, with socks askew, One green, one red, always new. Her dewdrop gem, once bright and grand, Lost its sparkle, in her hand.

Across the Rainbow River, she must fly, Beneath the big, blue, endless sky. For her dewdrop, she would bravely seek, The missing sparkle, oh so sleek.

First, a giggle-weed blocked her way, Its ticklish leaves made her sway. "Oh, giggle-weed, sweet and small, Help me find my sparkle, for one and all!"

She danced and spun, with a happy leap, And through the leaves, she then did creep.

Now, a grumpy gnome, with a scowl and frown, Blocked the path, from up to down. "Oh, grumpy gnome, with eyes so keen, Help me find my sparkle, a glittering scene!"

She offered him a berry, plump and red, And a tiny, happy tune she spread. The gnome then grumbled, moved aside, With a secret smile, he couldn't hide.

Then, a sleepy cloud, soft and white, Blocked the sun, with all its might. "Oh, sleepy cloud, so soft and deep, Help me find my sparkle, while you sleep!"

She tickled its fluff, with a feather light, And the cloud drifted, out of sight.

Across the river, sparkling bright, She found her dewdrop, shining light. But a tiny firefly, with wings so keen, Had borrowed the sparkle, a wondrous scene!

Pip smiled wide, without a doubt, The sparkle was shared, all about.

Her mismatched socks, a joyful pair, Showed true beauty, everywhere. For difference made the world so grand, And sparkle lived, throughout the land.
