Lily, a little bird, loves collecting shiny buttons but soon finds herself weighed down by her treasures. She learns the value of sharing with her friends, allowing everyone, including herself, to fly free.
Lily saw a button. It sat on a red bloom. Lily flew to it fast. Zip! She felt a pull. Her wings felt slow. Thump! Lily fell. She held the button tight.

Then, a gold button. It sat on a pink bloom. Lily flew to it. Whish! The sky spun. Her head felt light. Crash! Lily fell. Three bright buttons. Too heavy. No fly.
Lily looked at her friends. They did not fly.
Lily gave one button to Tom. He flew up high.
Lily gave one button to Sue. She flew up too.
Lily had one button. She flew home. All flew free.
