Story Details

Prince Theo loved emerald acorns. They were shiny and green. He gathered them from big royal oaks.

CRACK! A lightning bolt hit a tree. The emerald acorns flew! They scattered into the Whispering Jade Woods.

Theo ran into the woods.

He saw a tiny fawn. The fawn whimpered. A thorny bush pricked its paw.

Theo took one emerald acorn. He cracked it. He fed the sweet nut to the fawn. The fawn felt better. It limped away.

Theo walked on. He heard a nightingale. But it sang no song. Its voice was lost!

Theo held his next acorn. He hummed a tune. The nightingale chirped softly. Theo sang louder. The nightingale found its voice! It sang a joyful song.

Theo found a gardener. The gardener sighed. His seeds would not grow.

Theo smiled. He planted his last emerald acorn’s shell. He patted the soil. Green sprouts peeked up! The garden bloomed bright.

Soon, a giant emerald tree grew. It stretched to the sky. It gave acorns to everyone.

Theo watched. Green shone everywhere. It made others happy.
