But Binno noticed something different that year — some children didn’t seem as happy. His friend Lulu whispered, “My dad lost his job. We can’t buy a Christmas tree this year.”
Binno’s heart felt heavy. He wanted everyone to feel the joy of Christmas — not sadness.
That night, as he looked out the window, he made a wish upon the brightest star. “I wish I could help everyone smile again.”
🌲 The Secret in the Forest The next morning, Binno woke up early and followed a trail of glittering snow leading into the forest.
At the end of the path stood a tiny, glowing pine tree.
“Hello, Binno,” said a soft voice. It was the Spirit of Christmas Light, a shimmering figure made of stars.
“This is the Wish Tree,” she said. “It grows brighter with every act of kindness. When it shines completely, it spreads hope to all of Brightville.”
Binno gasped. “So… if I help others, the tree will glow?” The spirit smiled. “Exactly. Kindness is the magic that makes the world shine.”
💖 Sharing the Light Binno rushed back to town and began his mission. He helped carry groceries for an elderly neighbor. He shared hot chocolate with a friend who was sad. He even gave away one of his favorite toys to a little boy who had none.
Every time Binno did something kind, a small sparkle appeared on the Wish Tree. By Christmas Eve, the tree was covered in lights — gold, blue, and silver — shining like a thousand stars.

Back in town, people smiled, hugged, and shared food and laughter. Even Lulu’s house had a small, beautiful tree — glowing softly with magic.
