Barnaby, a giant, hummed little tunes. His favorite purple flower looked sad. Its petals drooped.

Oh, no! Barnaby’s big heart thumped. He grabbed his watering can. It was very, very big.

Splash! Water fell on the dirt. Barnaby hummed a soft tune. The flower stayed droopy. Barnaby frowned.

He watered it again. Splash, splash! He hummed a hopeful tune. The flower looked a tiny bit better. But not much.

Then, a big, green sprout pushed up! Barnaby gasped. A happy tune bubbled inside him.

He watered it one more time. Splash, splash, splash! He hummed a joyful song. The sprout grew taller.

Barnaby smiled a giant smile. He felt so happy. His tiny tunes grew loud and proud.
