Through her eyes, children learn about colors, counting, and the plant life cycle, fostering a love for nature and the joy of seeing hard work blossom.
Today is planting day. I have a packet of seeds. The seeds are very small. I will plant them with care.
First, I dig one hole. The dirt is soft and brown. I put one seed in the hole. Good luck, little seed!
I give the seed some water. The water is cool and clear. The sun shines down brightly. Grow, little seed, grow!
I wait for many days. Then, I see one green sprout! It is a tiny plant. Hello, little sprout!
My plant grows bigger. Now I see one red flower. It is bright like a fire truck. I love the red flower.
The next day, I see two new flowers! One is orange like a sunset. One is yellow like the sun. Now I have three flowers!
More flowers are blooming! Now I see one blue flower. It is the color of the sky. And I see one purple flower too!
Let's count all the flowers! One red, two orange, three yellow, four blue, and five purple flowers. I have fifteen flowers!
The bees and butterflies come. They love the colorful flowers. My garden is full of life. It is so beautiful!
I started with one seed. Now I have a rainbow. I love my colorful garden. What should we grow next?
