The Hungry caterpillar

One Sunday morning, the warm sun came up.Out of a little egg popped a tiny caterpillar.

On Monday, he looked for food. He found one red apple and ate it all up.But he was still hungry.

On Tuesday, he found two green pears. He ate them both, but he was still hungry.

On Wednesday, he found three purple plums. He ate them quickly, but he was still hungry.

On Thursday, he found four red strawberries. He ate and ate, but he was still hungry.

On Friday, he found five orange oranges! He ate them all, but he was still hungry.

On Saturday, he ate piece of cakes,sausage, and one slice of watermelon. That night, he had a tummy ache!

The next day was Sunday again. The caterpillar ate one green leaf. He felt much better.

Now he wasn’t hungry anymore. He wasn’t little anymore, either.

He built a small house around himself. It was called a cocoon.

He stayed inside for more than two weeks. Then he nibbled a hole, pushed his way out and became a beautiful butterfly! 🦋
